"CAPTURING THE TANGIBLE AND INTANGIBLE ELEMENTS SUCCINCTLY IN THE ESSENCE OF THE BUILT FORM IN THE PERFECT LIGHT CONDITIONS IS A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE…"

With architecture the external surfaces and the immediate surroundings, quality of natural light and the volume of the built form come to the fore. It needs the photographer to dwell more on the angles, and capture the overall ambience of the given space.

The exterior built form needs to be photographed in varying lights – at different times of the day; as well as late evening and night, with a mixture of natural and artificial light. Landscape around the structure also plays a pivotal role in the images. The spatial dynamics between interior and exterior spaces of any built form have to be clearly understood. The photographer must study the space and capture it in different moods and settings.
