PEOPLE

"MOST PEOPLE ARE CONSCIOUS IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. I LET THEM RELAX AND TRY TO CATCH RARE MOMENTS, UNGUARDED EXPRESSIONS, GENUINE EMOTIONS…"

The human face expresses limitless emotions in a matter of a few seconds. The photographer is posed with the challenge of capturing the best angles of the person’s face as well as the right expressions. In portraits as well as live conversations, and despite the tremendous advantage of digital photography where there is no restriction on the number of images to be shot, the challenge remains as that of getting the best, most candid shots.

Children however are the most difficult to shoot. They don’t act. They don’t understand takes and retakes. It requires patience and sincerity to get the perfect shot. A yawn, a smile, a sulk, a tantrum, a look of surprise, a peaceful nap, an accidental fall, a tear-stained face – they all are divine moments to capture on film!
